My grandfather had a bad fall today. Pray for a speedy recovery for him.
I am having surgery on Tuesday 8-18-26. I will likely have a six week recovery. Besides just praying for the surgery and doctors and safety, it overall makes me anxious, so I would appreciate prayers for that too.
Prayer Update!
Hello Doxa family!
I wanted to give an update on the prayer request I submitted a few months back. My friends mother Debbie was diagnosed with stage 4 adenocarcinoma cance which had spread to her bones and lungs and there was little to no hope from a medical standpoint for her to survive. She had a scan a few months back after a few rounds of chemo and the doctors noticed the cancer was starting to shrink in her body. Still optimistic they continued on with the treatments. A few weeks ago she went in for another scan and by the grace of God she was completely cancer free! No trace of anything on the scans at all! We want to thank everyone for all of your prayers and give thanks and praise to the Father for this! His healing has made her well and all praise goes to him! God is good all the time!
Please pray for my friend Jayme as her mom was just put on comfort measures and is dying from Alzheimer’s disease.
My father-in-law, Don had a car accident on Tuesday and was air lifted to the hospital. He has a broken sternum and 6 broken ribs beside several cuts and bruises. He also is very confused about everything and the doctor said that his confusion might not get better. My mother-in-law, June just called me to ask me to pray for them. She is not well herself and is on oxygen 24/7. Please pray for them. Also, they are believers and serve Christ avidly.
Pray for my wife, Maggie, as she is on her mission trip to Kenya. Pray for strength and sustenance through the Holy Spirit, for both her mind and body. Thanks!
My brother in law Johnny is a pastor in the Tampa area. He has been involved in about a 6 month affair. Thousands are going to be affected as his resignation will be announced today. I’m on my knees in prayer for my sister and for him and for their 3 sons whom are pastors and his two adopted children! My sister Jennifer is going to fight for her marriage! God is already working miracles! I just really love that you are prayer warriors and that we love Jesus here in our family at Doxa! Thank you for lifting us up! Love for the Journey, Jodi
Praise! My cousin Toby received a liver last week. He is home now. We are asking for prayer that God specifically moves in his heart and draws him close to desire a relationship with the Father so that he will be the example that brings his wife and parents to Christ.
Pray just for a good start to college and peace that I can do it on my own and that I will be able to succeed.
